The Kids Need to Read Embedded Widget

Visit the Widget Gallery

In addition to the banners above, you can now help promote the latest update from Kids Need to Read using this Widget.

The widget is embedded on your webpage and will display information from the latest post on our website.

Please see the installation instructions below for details on how to get the widget on your webpage or blog.

Instructions for getting our Widget on your website or blog:

  1. Click Here to go to our page on the SpringWidgets website, this page will open in a new window.
  2. On the left column, there are just two sections you need to look at:
    • The section that says “Set widget embed size”. Leave it as is for a widget that is 250 pixels wide. If you need something smaller, change the “250? to whatever width you need but if you do that, the top banner image will not work. If you don’t care about the banner, then you can set it to any width you need.
  3. Just below that is a box with different icons. Select the one that represents where you will be placing the widget. The box has icons for MySpace and other social networks. The first one is the one you choose if you have a self-hosted blog - it’ll give you the straight html code.
  4. After you click the appropriate icon, a text box will pop up with the code for the widget. Click in the box and it’ll automatically highlight all of the code. Then copy-and-paste it to where you want it.

That is all there is to it. Thanks to everyone who supports Kids Need to Read! Without you, what we do would not be possible.
