Author/illustrator Steven Riley lead highly entertaining creative sessions for children in the Kids Need to Read pavilion. Children learned how to develop characters and plots, and had their book pages displayed on the KNTR Build-a-Book storyboard wall. All participants received a Kids Need to Read goodie backpack, sponsored by Bookmans and filled with a book, magazines, and space goodies.
